The only large-scale zoo in Puerto Rico located in the west. Contains over 340 species of the Animal Kingdom as birds, reptiles, mammals and amphibians, many of them endangered. Among the many exhibits are the lions, tigers, hippos , giraffes, elephants, rhinos, crested toad, a variety of snakes, exotic birds and raptors, butterflies and turtles, among others. The place offers the experience of watching various African ecosystems such as the African Savannah. It also has the New World tropical ecosystems such as the Spider Monkey Island
